Another Fake Facebook profile!
There is yet another fake Simone Lahbib Facebook profile doing the rounds. Please, do not join these fake profiles, because they are fooling you - the fans. Simone has said she DOES NOT and WILL NOT have a facebook profile. There is a Facebook fan page which is officially affilated with the site, and Simone recognizes.
If you spot a fake profile, please report it either to Facebook, or us. Without intervention these fake users will continue to dupe the fans.

As mentioned in earlier news, there is a break coming up on the web site. We will have some limited access, but news will only be added if its important. Otherwise, we will not be updating the site, nor replying to emails. So please do understand if you send an email you will not be getting a reply for a little over two weeks.

We have just found the following at Argos Entertainment. Obviously we don't know how long this offer might last - And we must stress, you must be able to play Region 2 (Pal) DVD's - but for £2-97 this DVD is available to people in the UK (or if you know someone who you can ask to have the DVD sent to). Simone has finished filming the Episodes for Single Handed. As yet there are no confirmed transmission dates.
Also, due to holiday - there will be no updates on the web site during the last 2 weeks of July. This is due to limited online access while we're away. Sorry for any inconvience this might cause fans. We will of course update, should there be anything to add, as soon as we can once we are back home.

We just wanted to give some advance notice that there is more planned for Simone Lahbib items in aid of charity, specifically the Eilidh Brown appeal. This was set up for Simone's niece, who sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier in the year. However, fundraising efforts continue in Eilidh's memory to try and help other children who also face battles with cancer.
We will post more once the whole thing becomes available. Basically - watch this space.

24th May
Just a couple of updates for you. First of all, the fake Twitter account has finally been removed. Thanks to everyone who contacted Twitter to complain about it.
Also, the PayPal account for the Eilidh Brown site is now back up and running if you wish to make a donation to that cause. Click here for more.
15th May
First apologies we've not updated since April. Unfortunately Jayne and I have had some real life things going on, added to some technical difficulities getting on the site to update it. This is still on-going, and the main issue we have at the moment, is we are receiving emails, but it appears we've having problems sending them with some people receiving, others who haven't. So if you've been expecting a reply to an email and it hasn't arrived, please send us one again and we'll try and reply again.
Twitter account - False!
The main news is there is a Twitter account that gives the impression of being Simone. This is not - and like Facebook she does not have an account on Twitter. So please be aware that this account is false. While it has been reported, Twitter haven't as yet taken the account down. So please note the account: http://twitter.com/simonelahbib is false.
Also, just to update about the new Simone project - Single Handed. This is in fact a 4th season, with only 2 episodes per season previously shown. Also added to the site - the press release from ITV about the new series. Click here.
We have more to add to the site, but until we get a more stable internet connection we can't do more than we've done. So please, do monitor the news page for more when we can do it.
Finally, the Eilidh Brown Website has some ongoing issues with PayPal, which means you cannot donate at the moment. Apologies about this, and they hope to resolve the problem as soon as they can, but it has taken longer than expected.

Eilidh Brown
My beautiful niece Eilidh lost her year long battle with cancer today and passed away peacefully this morning, Thursday 25th March 2010 at 5.30am, 9 days before her 16th birthday. Her last words were "I love you! and her passing was beautiful" She left with a smile on her face.
For those of you who didn't know her, she was the most extraordinary, loving, sweet, faithful and brave young girl. Who always thought of others before herself. She said recently to her mum, ".. I don't want to leave you mummy, but I'm going to have to. But I promise, no matter how hard it is, I'll send you a message from heaven to let you know Im ok, so your heart stops breaking"
Today it feels like our hearts will never stop breaking!
Darling Eilidh, all your family and all your friends will miss you so, so much. We will never stop loving you and will never ever forget you!
Rest in peace my angel
The plan is to continue to raise money for the Eilidh Brown Trust Fund, which will become a memorial fund. I know that Eilidhs mum and dad want to do something very special in Eilidhs memory. Perhaps if there is enough money raised it could be used to help teenagers with cancer or other families who have children with cancer. I know they are open to any ideas/suggestions, so feel free to email them to info@eilidhbrown.co.uk
Lastly on behalf of Eilidhs mum and dad, brother and sister and all her family, thank you to everyone who gifted money and all the kind offers of help and support.
