First of all, this is a message from Simone to clarify her position about her on Facebook:
"I have no plans to set up a FB page. So if anyone comes across my name in future, they can be sure its not me."
Due to there being impersonations of Simone on Facebook, we have done this page to clarify the situation for fans.
There is one fan page, known to Simone and one that she is totally happy with, and one we also share information with. We at Simone Lahbib Net have now become Official Affiliates with this site as well because we totally endorse what they are doing on Facebook.
As mentioned, this is a FAN Page - which they (The Admin who run the page) make perfectly clear. Not only are they using the Group Fan Pages specifically there on Facebook, they also ensure the information on both the front and information page show they are merely a Fan page, and in no way are they trying to impersonate Simone.

Remember - Simone knows of this page, but does not run or control it in any way. Please remember they cannot take personal messages for Simone at any time.
Furthermore - We would like to remind everyone, that by setting up and deliberately running a false page, this is a very serious issue. Not only does it cause distress to Simone, but also distress to her family and close friends, particularly if they have been duped in to believing the person is Simone herself. Equally, fans are also being duped in to believing they have contact with someone they respect and admire, and it is not fair on anyone. This attacks someone's privacy, but also in this instance, personal identity.
Should you spot a page pertaining to be Simone, please report the page immediately to Facebook. By taking this action we can continue to ensure that only pages run by those responsible in showing they are fans, and innocent people aren't misled and effectively lied to.
If you wish to make a page on Facebook about Simone, the simple advice is:
- * Make sure you do it as a Fan/Group page, not as an individual.
- * Please make sure you are clear that you are a Fan page where possible.
- * Do not make representations about knowing or being in contact with Simone, or false claims of any kind.
If someone claims otherwise, they are FAKE and should be reported to Facebook. Do not agree to meet up with or see anyone who pretends to be Simone for your own safety. - * Finally, please, please, please remember - Simone Lahbib is entitled to privacy in her life. While her job means she is in the public eye, that doesn't mean you have any right to try and invade or make comment that could either be damaging or upsetting to Simone, or her family and friends.
